The Lehrman Institute of American History

The Gilder Lehrman Institute of American Memory [1] founded an online archive of Lincoln cartoons, titled “Cartoon Corner,” which is a part of Abraham Lincoln’s Classroom through The Lincoln Institute. [2]

The Lehrman Institute also sponsored the Lincoln Heritage Museum’s exhibit “Looking at Lincoln: Cartoons From the Civil War Era.” [3]

Therefore, it is not only a site of virtual memory that it widely available on the web, but it contributes to numerous physical sites of Lincoln memory, such as the exhibit at the Lincoln Heritage Museum.
